CBYC Christmas Wreath & Craft Workshop
Join us on Thursday, 4th December at the Clubhouse at 3:00 PM for a Christmas Wreath & Craft Workshop.
This is a free workshop, and we kindly ask you to register so we can gauge attendance.
Please bring your own materials, such as a wreath base, greenery, floral wire or twist ties, scissors, ribbon, and string.
The workshop will be led by our talented staff member, Kathy and will last approximately 2 hours.

Checkmate XV - Summer Adventures!
This year, Checkmate XV, owned by club member Phil Cook, competed in the Half Ton Cup 2025, held in Torquay.
She finished 7th overall, expertly crewed by Mark Lewis, Geoff Carter, Simon Gadsby, Gethin Gronow, Jack Preece, Owen Kinsella, and Phil Cook.
It was quite the adventure—from high, hard winds and missing sheets to the recovery of said sheets, epic racing after the winds eased, and some superb post-race socialising!

Cruiser Presentation Evening
Are you interested in crewing opportunities at CBYC?
If so, join us on Saturday, 13th December for our Cruiser Presentation Evening.
We’ll be celebrating the year with a delicious menu, followed by an awards presentation. Food service will begin at 19:15.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Join us on Saturday, 6th December between 10am and 12:30pm for a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club!
We’ll be selling delicious cakes and hot beverages — all in aid of the ever-worthy Macmillan Cancer Support.

Job Vacancy - Chief Instructor
WE'RE HIRING...
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic RYA Senior Instructor to join the lead the training team Cardiff Bay Yacht Club.
This role requires an adaptable approach with successful candidates working a flexible 40 contracted hours per week. A significant amount of weekend and evening working will be required.
