We’ll be selling delicious cakes and hot beverages — all in aid of the ever-worthy Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic RYA Senior Instructor to join the lead the training team Cardiff Bay Yacht Club.
This role requires an adaptable approach with successful candidates working a flexible 40 contracted hours per week. A significant amount of weekend and evening working will be required.

RYA Safe & Fun
The RYA Safe and Fun course is a requirement for all newly qualified Level 2 Racing Coaches, RYA Dinghy Instructors, RYA Keelboat Instructors, RYA Windsurf Instructors and RYA Senior Instructors.
RYA VHF Marine Radio Course (SRC)
This one day course (plus exam) covers the Short Range Certificate (SRC), which is the minimum qualification required by law for those using VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on board any British flagged vessel. this includes both fixed and handheld equipment.
RYA First Aid
Our one-day RYA First Aid Course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages.
RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship - Online
The Essential Navigation and Seamanship Course is an interactive course.
A basic introduction to navigation and safety for anyone new to boating: sailors, powerboaters, sea anglers, divers and boat masters. Also useful for experienced dinghy and keelboat sailors and inshore racers. It is the perfect stepping stone to the more in-depth Day Skipper and Yacht master theory course.
