News from the Quarterdeck
Its great to see members who give their time for the benefit of others in the club recognised for their work hard work.
This year the committee felt that Paul Ackerman deserved to have some form of recognition and presented him with lifetime membership for his hard work and dedication to the club over many years a well deserved honour and our congratulations go to Paul.
The Training Centre would like to invite any interested members to a meeting Wednesday 5th February 19:30 at the club.
We will be introducing what training and events are planned for the year as well as having an open discussion about how the Training Centre could support every section of the club.
We would also be interested in hearing if there is anything that we are not offering that would support your Sailing, Powerboating, Yachting or Angling better.
In attendance will be Matt Sayer, Richard Mills and Chris Pain as well as any other interested members of the committee.
We look forward to seeing you.
As a club we believe in helping people take their first steps or improve their boating skills with many practical and theory courses available at CBYC.
We also have boats that are part of the racing fleet who look for crew on a regular basis and this is a great way to learn how to sail and get involved in club activities.
If you would like to get involved or find out more please fill in the FORM
