Always an ambitious destination so early in the season and needs a week’s cruise to be there for the Obby Oss festival.
Easter Cruiser Trip
Gloucester and Sharpness.
o This trip is not for the novice navigator and care to navigate the upper reaches of the Channel is required. It is highly recommended pilot books etc are reviewed and a passage plan made.
o Example of costs: Sharpness lock £25 each way per individual boat or £25 both ways for five or more boats locking in and out together. Canal and River 7-day licence £73 based on11m LOA and 3.5 beam
o Portishead Cruising Club also arrange an annual flotilla over the Easter weekend, so it is recommend a berth is prebooked if wanting to stay in Gloucester Harbour.
o A meeting on this trip will be held at the club Wednesday April 9th to give enough time to apply for a Canal and River inland water licence.
HANSA 303 Sprint Challenge

WE WILL RESCHEDULE AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE - Please keep checking for regular updates.
This fun event is open to ages eight and up, with up to twenty teams competing in a partial round-robin format.
Six Hansa 303 boats will race at a time.
Teams of up to four will race in pairs or individually, but not all members will compete in every race.
Rankings are based on the lowest average points.
