A one-day introduction to simple boat handling and the use of safety equipment. No previous experience necessary.

Women's at the Helm - RYA Powerboat Level 2 - Take charge and power ahead. This practical course is for women who want to gain the skills and confidence to drive small powered craft such as RIB's, dories and sports boats safely and independently.

A 2 Day Practical Course on the water. No previous experience required - May be preceded by Level 1 Start Powerboating - Minimum Age 12

This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities.

This course will give you a fun introduction to the basics of sailing a small dinghy and gives you the opportunity to push yourself if you wish.

The Improver Camp builds on learning in the beginners camp, with the sailors aiming for their RYA stage 3 and State Racing of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme. These camps are an excellent opportunity to get out on the water and get a lot of sailing in.

The Advanced camp builds on sailing a double handed dinghy, with the sailors aiming for their RYA Stage 4 and Sailing with Spinnakers of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme.

Open Training for a range of Youth and Junior classes

Designed for sailors who want to build their racing skills and confidence, These weekends offer high-quality coaching focused on improving technique, tactics, and performance on the water. The Weekend is open to sailors from all clubs. - Take part in the full two-day programme, or drop in for a single day of top-quality coaching. If sailor needs to use one of our Clubs Optimists for a weekend, this can be arranged - please contact the club in advance. There will be a charge of £10 per day.

SHE SAILS - RYA DINGHY LEVEL 1 - Curious about sailing but not sure where to begin? This course is exclusive to women who would like to learn in a relaxed, supportive and confidence-building environment. No previous experience is needed - Just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. By the end of the course, you will have learned skills and confidence to sail a dinghy under supervision and continue your sailing journey.

An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision

Build your confidence and gain the skills needed to sail and make decisions in good conditions. By the end of this course you will be a competent sailor in light winds.

Improve your sailing consolidating skills and trying new ones in a variety of conditions

WOMENS' RYA KEELBOAT LEVEL 1 - START YOUR SAILING JOURNEY - Always wanted to try sailing but never quite taken the plunge? Our Women's RYA Keelboat Level 1 course is for complete beginners who would like to learn in a relaxed, supportive and confidence-building environment. No experience is needed. Just bring your enthusiasm - we will do the rest.

Ready to take the helm? A two-day practical, on the water course for under 18's who are looking to develop real boat handling skills and independence on the water. Very attractive to parents as it builds real responsibility, safety awareness and practical life skills.
