Our Women's RYA Keelboat Level 1 course is for complete beginners who would like to learn in a relaxed, supportive and confidence-building environment. No experience is needed. Ready to take the helm? A two-day practical, on the water course for under 18's who are looking to develop real boat handling skills and independence on the water. Very attractive to parents as it builds real responsibility, safety awareness and practical life skills.

RYA Keelboat Level 1

A course for complete beginners. Learn how to sail in all directions and awareness of launching and recovery. Specific to learning to sail a keelboat.

RYA - Essential Navigation and Seamanship | Online - 2026

RYA Interactive Essential Navigation and Seamanship - Flexible Learning at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. A basic introduction to navigation and safety for anyone new to boating: ***Important notice: *** RYA Interactive will be moving to a new eLearning platform in early April. If your course is not completed by 7 April your account will be transferred to the new system and all course progress will be lost. Unfortunately you will need to start again.

RYA First Aid | Classroom

Our one-day RYA First Aid Course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages.

RYA Safe and Fun | Online

The RYA Safe and Fun course is a requirement for all newly qualified Level 2 Racing Coaches, RYA Dinghy Instructors, RYA Keelboat Instructors, RYA Windsurf Instructors and RYA Senior Instructors

RYA VHF Marine Radio Course (SRC) | Classroom

This one-day course runs from 9:30am to 6:00pm and covers the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC). The exam will take place from approximately 4:30pm, once the course training has finished. Please note, there is an additional exam fee of £76 payable directly to the RYA and is not included in this course fee.
