Ceri Dupree - NEW DATE!
Following the postponement of An Evening with Ceri Dupree on Saturday, 22nd November, we’re thrilled to announce that Ceri will be returning to the club on Saturday, 31st January 2026!
Sure to blow away any winter blues — we’re looking forward to an evening of fabulous entertainment!
Try a Youth Class
Come join us on June 8th for a Try a Youth Class day.
We will have access to ILCA 4 & 6, 29er, 420 and a Waszp with sailors rotating round each class in groups. We are also fortunate to have current class sailors to be able to provide top tips and share their experience with the class.

HANSA 303 Sprint Challenge

WE WILL RESCHEDULE AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE - Please keep checking for regular updates.
This fun event is open to ages eight and up, with up to twenty teams competing in a partial round-robin format.
Six Hansa 303 boats will race at a time.
Teams of up to four will race in pairs or individually, but not all members will compete in every race.
Rankings are based on the lowest average points.

Events
The Membership Interviews are accessible by invitation, for those in the process of applying for membership at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club.
During these events, we explain how the Club is run, the role of the committee within the Club, and what is expected of you as a member. We can also look at opportunities for assisting you if needed to improve your knowledge of boat handling etc; courses can be recommended whether in-house or organised by reputable local organisations.
After successful attendance of the open evening a recommendation that your application be accepted will be given at the next committee meeting, held on the third Monday of every month. Sometimes the application process can take up to eight weeks, depending upon the number of applicants waiting, but this is often shorter.
