HANSA 303 Sprint Challenge
This fun event is open to ages eight and up, with up to twenty teams competing in a partial round-robin format.
Six Hansa 303 boats will race at a time.
Teams of up to four will race in pairs or individually, but not all members will compete in every race.
Rankings are based on the lowest average points.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members is traditionally held on the last Wednesday of March each year. Due to the ongoing Clubhouse development, we need to plan and be a little flexible. We have provisionally booked Wednesday 2nd April 2025 as the date for the AGM; however, we will not be able to confirm this until closer to the time. As a contingency, we also have an alternative date of Wednesday 16th April 2025.
Confirmation of the date and the formal invitation will follow in early March.

Events
The Membership Interviews are accessible by invitation, for those in the process of applying for membership at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club.
During these events, we explain how the Club is run, the role of the committee within the Club, and what is expected of you as a member. We can also look at opportunities for assisting you if needed to improve your knowledge of boat handling etc; courses can be recommended whether in-house or organised by reputable local organisations.
After successful attendance of the open evening a recommendation that your application be accepted will be given at the next committee meeting, held on the third Monday of every month. Sometimes the application process can take up to eight weeks, depending upon the number of applicants waiting, but this is often shorter.
