Designed for sailors who want to build their racing skills and confidence, These weekends offer high-quality coaching focused on improving technique, tactics, and performance on the water. The Weekend is open to sailors from all clubs. - Take part in the full two-day programme, or drop in for a single day of top-quality coaching. If sailor needs to use one of our Clubs Toppers for a weekend, this can be arranged - please contact the club in advance. There will be a charge of £10 day.
Open Training - Toppers
Powerboat
A one day introduction to Powerboating with no previous experience required. Provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.
1 Day
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.

Youth Dinghy

Youth Racing Week - Multi Class
Junior Multi Class Racing is designed for young sailors to develop their racing skills in Optimist, Topper, ILCA, Feva, RS2000. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a Optimist,Topper, ILCA, Feva or RS2000, please contact the Sailing School in advance to hire one.

Junior Optimist Racing Course is designed for young sailors to develop their racing skills in the Optimist dinghy. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have your own Optimist to take part. If you do not have one, please contact the Sailing School in advance to arrange one.

RYA Keelboat Level 1 - Start Sailing
A course for complete beginners specific to learning to sail a keelboat, teaching you how to leave and return and sail in all directions.

Course Summary: Fine tune the basics, and build confidence increasing knowledge in rigging, sailing on all points and developing essential safety knowledge.
