A one-day introduction to simple boat handling and the use of safety equipment. No previous experience necessary.

A 2 Day Practical Course on the water. No previous experience required - May be preceded by Level 1 Start Powerboating - Minimum Age 12

The Advanced camp builds on sailing a double handed dinghy, with the sailors aiming for their RYA Stage 4 and Sailing with Spinnakers of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme.

This course will give you a fun introduction to the basics of sailing a small dinghy and gives you the opportunity to push yourself if you wish.

The Improver Camp builds on learning in the beginners camp, with the sailors aiming for their RYA stage 3 and State Racing of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme. These camps are an excellent opportunity to get out on the water and get a lot of sailing in.

An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision

Build your confidence and gain the skills needed to sail and make decisions in good conditions. By the end of this course you will be a competent sailor in light winds.

RYA Interactive Essential Navigation and Seamanship - Flexible Learning at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. A basic introduction to navigation and safety for anyone new to boating: ***Important notice: *** RYA Interactive will be moving to a new eLearning platform in early April. If your course is not completed by 7 April your account will be transferred to the new system and all course progress will be lost. Unfortunately you will need to start again.

This one-day course runs from 9:30am to 6:00pm and covers the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC). The exam will take place from approximately 4:30pm, once the course training has finished. Please note, the exam fee of £76 is payable directly to the RYA and is not included in the this course fee.
