RYA Dinghy Level 2 – Basic Skills
Build your confidence and gain the skills needed to sail and make decisions in good conditions. By the end of this course you will be a competent sailor in light winds.

- Practical course on the water
- Experience required - Sailing skills to the standard of Level 1 Start Sailing

- Rigging
- Launching
- Building confidence sailing in all directions.
- Capsize recovery
- Essential safety knowledge.
Instructor to Student ratio
1 Instructor to 6 Students
Minimum Age
None (although under 16s may prefer to learn through the Youth Sailing Scheme)
Prerequisites
Sailing Skills to the standard of Dinghy Level 1 Start Sailing
What you need to bring
- RYA Logbook
- Towel
- Lunch
- Wetsuit boots
- Sunglasses, Sun hat, Sunscreen, Water bottle
- Warm hat, Extra layers
