A beautiful day met the ten TARS boats that went to the start. The wind was much better than forecast but died towards the end of the race when only nine finished due to gear failure.
Our driver somewhat failed again trying to set a course with a long spinnaker run, the wind changed and one crew member, who will remain nameless, made a mess of gybing the spinnaker! The wind coming from the south over the headland caused a few headaches with bot upwind and downwind legs, which side and would the spinnaker fly? Overall a very interesting tactical sail with the possibility of a suntan!
Although Ragamuffin took line honours closely followed by big Merlin they were beaten to race honours by Rosie and then Koco.
Results of yesterdays race and the series so far is in the blog file below and more photos will be posted on the TARS Facebook page.
