Lightish winds from a variable direction enticed eight TARdies to take to the water. At least according to the RO's race sheet! As it turned out there were only eight boats on the water but not those on the sheet, one was missing and there was a ghost boat. Needless to say, to ghost boat was given a DNS.
As always Merlin was at the windward mark first and stayed at the head of the fleet for the race. Race honours provided a sandwich of Westerys with an Elan in the middle! Congratulations to Billie-Anne closely followed by Big Merlin and Celtic Spray. The weather almost behaved itself but deluged the fleet towards the end of the race which by then had become two beats and a reach!
