TARS REsults 25th May

A record - 15 boats out for a sail in the sun! TARS is the best supported activity thanks the relaxed atmosphere and tall stories in the bar afterwards. Almost another mass start but no sandwich, haggis or otherwise, this week. A reasonable wind, but patchy and from a variable direction. Concentration paid dividends but missing the shifts and gusts was disastrous. There was some fine competive racing thoughout the whole fleet with Koco taking race honours. A special mention for GT, a heavyweight Contessa 26, who came in 3rd on handicap in conditions that didn't really suit her.

The results of the race and the extended series so far is in the blog file below. I am in the process of reviewing all handicaps, using the same methodology, as the mix of boats is considerably different now compared with when orginally introduced. Also Artemis and Supermac have now completed 4 races in total and their CB Ratings will be updated and the results so far recalculated.

More photos will be posted on the TARS Facebook page, if you have not appeared please make sure that you are always behind Argento!
