Last weekend seven intrepid CBYC sailors attended the optimist winter championships at Rutland sailing club. They were greeted with strong winds and freezing temperatures but all battled hard and enjoyed the two days of close racing. Laragh, Ella, George, Emily, Charlotte and Niamh each put in determined performances with particular congratulations to Dylan Creighton for his top ten result overall.
